Pure in Heart
Yang Gook-hwa (Korean:Ā ģ źµķ) is a nineteen-year-old country girl who leavesĀ YanbianĀ and travels toĀ SeoulĀ because she is marrying Hong Soon-goo (Korean:Ā ķ ģźµ¬), the third son in an average but respectable family. When she arrives in Seoul, however, she finds out that her fiancĆ© has just died in a terrible car accident.

Yang Gook-hwa (Korean:Ā ģ źµķ) is a nineteen-year-old country girl who leavesĀ YanbianĀ and travels toĀ SeoulĀ because she is marrying Hong Soon-goo (Korean:Ā ķ ģźµ¬), the third son in an average but respectable family. When she arrives in Seoul, however, she finds out that her fiancĆ© has just died in a terrible car accident. Instead of returning to Yanbian, she decides to stay and create a new life in Korea while sending money back to her aunt and uncle.
